On December 3rd, BrainRocket partnered with the mayor in our area, Mesa Geitonia in Limassol, on a project called NeighBROhood, where staff launched a renovation project on a small park that is a short distance from BrainRocket office.

The company and staff were keen on putting into practice the values they have around the environment, in order to make a positive impact on a small park that is a minute away from our office, so that not only the staff can enjoy it but the whole community can as well. Over 30 BrainRocket employees and their families took the time to clean up this park; replacing the broken benches, painting the columns and the benches in the company’s signature colours, removing vandalism from several surfaces, and starting the renovation of the fountain which will also feature BrainRocket’s colour scheme. After completing the job, staff and their kids were then treated with some music and tasty snacks, which served to really liven up the newly-renovated space and drum interest in this park.

BrainRocket staff and their families went above and beyond what’s expected socially or environmentally by contributing to a vital cause. They had a blast and the kids enjoyed painting and they have no doubt that this space will continue to be enjoyed by the entire community as a whole.

Together with the Mayor, the employees then installed a BRO sign to represent the collaboration between BrainRocket and the mayor of Mesa Geitonia. The sign also acts as a reminder to everyone to keep the park clean.

Marina Vasileiou, Wellbeing & CSR Manager at BrainRocket, remarked: “For BrainRocket, this project has been an absolute joy to work on as it has given the company the chance truly make a difference, bringing about the change that we would like to see in our community - cleaner and greener parks for everyone to enjoy.”
