Introducing elements of fun and excitement to the workplace are key to helping employees build successful working and personal relationships. This, in turn, creates a thriving company culture where coworkers become friends and even family.

So we organised our very first BrainRocket Tennis Tournament 2023 for our sporty BROs. It was in full force from the 19th until the 30th of April, and totalled 24 games that our staff got to enjoy playing together.

We were fortunate enough to welcome the 3rd Racket of Cyprus, Mr Pambos Agathokleous, who was our referee during all of the games. Mr Agathokleous is a professional tennis player and referee who ranks number 317 among many millions of tennis players in the world in ITF.

The games were played in a Singles format with a maximum of 3 sets and an additional tie-breaker which is played if the score is 6-6. The tournament bracket was determined by a draw.

3rd Place - €500

This epic eleven-day event culminated in the final day, April 30th, where the team played the semi-finals, the finals and enjoyed the award ceremony. This took place between 7:00am and 2:00pm at the Parklane luxury collection resort & spa, in the tennis courts area. It was also an awesome family day where supporters could get together and enjoy a picnic while supporting their favourite people. The children over the age of 5 were taken care of by our Daycare Providers.

Staff and their families had a blast and there is no doubt that this benefitted the entire BrainRocket employee community who got to connect and express their competitive nature in the best way possible.
